The MD Program at Varna Medical University spans six years of medical studies in English, encompassing 10 semesters and one year of state clinical internships.
The Dentistry Programme is exclusively full-time and spans three stages over 6 years: the core study curriculum (ten semesters), a pre-graduation practice following the 10th semester (135 working days), and two training practices of 30 calendar days each after the sixth and eighth semesters.
The Pharmacy Course is also full-time, lasting 5 years. It incorporates the core study program alongside two training practices, each lasting 6 calendar days, after the fourth and sixth semesters. A pre-graduation internship in a pharmacy follows the ninth semester.

To secure a place at the Medical University of Varna, successful completion of the entrance exams is essential. High grades in Biology and Chemistry during your high school education are prerequisites.
The entrance test is grounded in your high school-level knowledge of Biology and Chemistry (for EU applicants exclusively). Non-native English speakers will also be required to take an English proficiency test.
In the current year, the entrance exam will be administered online. The entry test encompasses five sections:

The second semester initiates on the 10th of February, lasting 15 weeks and culminating by the end of May. The examination session for this semester takes place throughout the month of June, extending into early July.
