Accommodation

The Faculty of Medicine provides two accommodation options in Hradec Kralove. The first comprises university-owned dormitory buildings, while the second involves a collaboration between the university and a nearby hotel. Opting for the hotel accommodation, as a medical faculty student, would incur a cost of approximately €7 per day for a room with a private bathroom.

The Palachova dormitory building comprises flats for 4 or 6 students, equipped with kitchens and bathrooms. These flats offer either 2 double rooms or 2 triple rooms. However, the selection of the flat type isn't within your discretion; placement is based on available vacancies.

​

The Na Kotli hostel features double, triple, and quadruple rooms with attached bathrooms. Each floor features shared kitchens and gender-segregated washrooms. The monthly rate for a dormitory room typically ranges from €100 to €150.

​

For those interested in renting a private one-bedroom flat in Hradec Kralove, the monthly rent stands at approximately €400. Additional expenses such as utilities, food, books, and leisure activities would require an estimated budget of around €600 per month.

Academic Calendar

The first semester's lectures commence in late September and extend until mid-January. The subsequent examination period follows right after the semester's conclusion and lasts until mid-February.

​

Conversely, the summer semester begins after the examination session and concludes at the end of May.

 

The exam period for the summer semester falls in June.
