It's important to note that accelerated MD and DMD programs in English are not available within this context. A compulsory 3-week premedical program is extended to all incoming first-year students. This program serves as a preparatory phase, offering a thorough review and enhancement of their theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the realm of natural sciences. This crucially precedes the initiation of their medical studies. The curriculum includes Biology (16 hours), Chemistry (32 hours), and Physics (30 hours) courses. Moreover, students are presented with the opportunity to attain rudimentary proficiency in the Polish language (18 hours) and enhance their grasp of English medical and scientific terminology.

Medical University of Bialystok Tuition Fees

For the initial year of the medical program conducted in English, the tuition fees amount to £11,700. An additional fee of £450 is applicable for the compulsory on-site pre-course, or £350 if the online option is chosen.

It's important to note that if any adjustments are made to these fees by the university, all enrolled students will receive notification six months prior to the commencement of the academic year. Additionally, there exists a student ID fee of approximately £50.

Medical University of Bialystok Admission & Entry Requirements

 

When it comes to the admission process, the university employs a ranking system that hinges on points obtained through the following criteria:

1. High school grades and certificates, inclusive of results from the SAT exam or any other university-level courses. Notably, two subjects are evaluated: Chemistry (mandatory) and a choice between Biology, Mathematics, or Physics.

2. Furthermore, it's stipulated that at least one of these subjects must have been taught for a minimum of one semester during the high school curriculum.

 

As part of the admission process, an interview is mandatory. This interview serves to verify both English language proficiency and the applicant's motivation for pursuing a career in the medical field.

Once an applicant successfully completes the online registration process and their application is verified positively, the interview will be arranged. In order to participate in the interview, a £450 enrollment fee must be paid.

​

The interview will be scheduled subsequent to the submission of all required documents. Candidates will be interviewed via electronic communication.

To prepare for the interview:

​

1. Ensure your internet connection, webcam, and microphone are functioning properly by conducting a test.
2. Position your camera away from any sources of light, whether natural or artificial.
3. Keep a pen and paper ready for note-taking if needed.
4. Choose a quiet room to avoid interruptions.
5. Keep your passport at hand, as it might be required to show it on camera.
6. Be prepared for possible photo capture during the interview for identification purposes.
7. Speak clearly and coherently.
8. Turn off other electronic devices and close unrelated programs.

The interview will encompass an evaluation of the candidate's general knowledge and English proficiency.

 

The interview also includes a test consisting of:

- 20 questions related to chemistry
- 20 questions related to biology
- 20 questions related to mathematics and physics

 

The interview holds a maximum score of 100 points. If the maximum number of available seats has not been reached, an extended recruitment phase may be introduced, allowing candidates with lower points to be considered.
